There isn’t a shortage of things to do during Dreamforce and let’s face it, it’s easy to get to distracted! One common characteristic of Muleys (MuleSoft developers, customers, employees and partners) is that we keep our eye on the prize – How do we drive disruption? How do we go faster? Whether you’re attending Dreamforce to refine your digital strategy or knocking out Salesforce certifications – see below. Here are the top 5 Dreamforce tips to make sure you see the latest and greatest around MuleSoft and Salesforce, and return to the office ready to challenge the status quo.

A Muley’s Guide to Dreamforce

#1 // MuleSoft Hoodie Hunt

You will be engaged in conversations over Twitter and attending at least one of these sessions. Be sure to pick up a signature “ Loves Mule” hoodie from MuleSoft booth N1831 and N1829 in the Expo. Learn more about the challenge here.

#2 // Download the Dreamforce app

This app makes it easy to create an agenda on the fly and see if room locations or session times have changed. Search for “Dreamforce” in the App Store or Google Play. You can also visit these links:

iOS | Android

#3 // Leverage Recommended Learning Paths

Within the Dreamforce community you can browse sessions by role and topic themes. Here are a few I found helpful:

  • If registered, login here: https://success.salesforce.com/dreamforce
  • Select “Sessions”
  • Select “Role” // Architect, Developer, Executive
  • Or Select “Themes” // Integration, Internet of Things, Product Roadmaps
  • Note for Developers // The Dreamforce Trailhead challenge is also a great resource.

#4 // Network. Network. Network

Find your peers during the week and get those tough questions answered. There are a number of industry, application centric, and special interest events taking place. I recommend downloading the Partyforce app to uncover these groups. For example, Partyforce connected me with a “Women in Tech” event that I didn’t know about! Here are links to a few of the communities too:

#5 // Register!

If you are on the fence there’s still time! Don’t forget to register here using the promo-code EC15MLFT to receive $100 off a full conference pass.

See you there!
