Last time that I blogged about Studio was when we had a limited private beta. The program went really well and we got a lot of great feedback. Now, I'm really happy to announce that we have released Mule Studio (beta) to the public. You can download it from here. Mule Studio is free and anyone can use it.

For those of you that have not seen Studio before, Mule Studio is an Eclipse-based tool, that allows to graphically create and test ESB flows (drastically reducing the learning curve and increasing developers productivity).

Some of the new things that we added after the private beta includes:

  • Import and Export capabilities
  • VM Endpoints
  • Logger support
  • Generic Endpoints

In addition to this we added some features for new users to make it easier to get started. We've added a welcome Screen with use full links like the Getting Started Guide, Studio docs and the ability to create New Projects from here.

Create New Project based on Templates, this allows to quickly start with a running Mule application that can be easily adapted to your own needs. For now it comes with 3 pre-bundled examples, but we are planning to add many more.

Starting from now we are planning to keep polishing Studio and adding small features based on feedback.

I hope that you will be able to spend some time on this public beta release and give me plenty of feedback on the tool, as well as report any issues that you may find.
