12 developer Meetups to attend in September 2018

In August, five Meetup leaders took the leap and organized their first MuleSoft Meetup. Congratulations to Detroit, Mexico City, Gurugram, Mumbai and Guadalajara! 

This September, we have 12 Developer Meetups across 6 cities, including the first Meetups in Columbus, Ohio and Solingen, Germany.

Upcoming Meetups

Atlanta, Georgia – August 27th, 2018

During this new Meetup in Atlanta, Hal Wilkins, Principal Solution Engineer at MuleSoft; Aaron Unterberger, Solutions Consultant at MuleSoft; and Rajnish Kumar, CTO at Vanrish Technology LLC, will discuss Mule 4, containerization, security, CI/CD, and more.

Christchurch, New Zealand – August 30th, 2018

Kian Ting and Jason Wu, Software Engineers at Christchurch City Council will explain how to:

  • Apply custom policies with an on-premise runtime Mule 3.9
  • Apply a CXF Soap Interceptor in runtime Mule 3.9
  • Write reusable Groovy scripts, and debugging groovy scripts in Anypoint Studio

Raleigh, North Carolina – September 5th, 2018

Join Hari Shankar, Solutions Consultant and Chris Young, Account Executive, both at MuleSoft, for this second Meetup in Raleigh! Together, they’ll cover the importance of monitoring and security, as well as the benefits of leading Meetup groups.

San Francisco, California – September 5th, 2018

Ashish Goyal, Senior Integration Engineer at Anaplan, will present a demo of the new Anaplan connector, including how to export a snapshot of current sales opportunities from Salesforce Sales Cloud and import them into Anaplan using MuleSoft’s Anypoint platform. Plus, several members of the MuleSoft team will be attending, so come meet us as well!

Boston, Massachusetts – September 6th, 2018

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – September 6th, 2018

This new Meetup in sunny Fort Lauderdale will be led by Nadeem Akhter, VP Integration, and Imran Sabir, Senior Consultant, both at AAJ Technologies. They will cover DataWeave 2.0, streams, error handling, enriched connectors, flow triggers, the self-tuning engine, and Mule SDK.

Columbus, Ohio – September 12th, 2018

For their very first Meetup Ralph Rimorin, Developer and Architect at State Auto, and Lori Angalich, VP of Marketing at Lightwell, put together a great agenda to inaugurate the group. They’ll start with an introduction to MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform and how it works.  They will also focus on building connections with fellow Columbus-area MuleSoft enthusiasts, and brainstorming ideas for future MuleSoft Meetup topics. A member of the MuleSoft technical team will be present during this Meetup. It’s a great opportunity to meet a Muley, ask questions, and gain insights that can help you get the most from the MuleSoft platform.

Solingen, Germany – September 13th, 2018

This will be the very first Meetup in Solingen! Roger Butenuth, MuleSoft Architect and Trainer; Daniel Kocot, Solutions Architect; and Corinna Kern, Senior Community Manager, all at Codecentric, are excited to meet the local MuleSoft Community!

Rainer Drexler, Integration Architect, will discuss how to to build a pipeline for MuleSoft with Docker, and there will be ample time for networking and discussions after the talk.

Manila, Philippines – September 20th, 2018

Come join Ryan Andal and Christopher Co, both Senior Integration Solutions Consultants at Whitesky Labs, to look at exciting integration use cases using Mule 4. The agenda also includes a general discussion on how Mule 4 is going to change the way integration specialists do their work.

Indianapolis, Indiana – September 20th, 2018

Tokyo, Japan – September 21st, 2018

This is the second MuleSoft Meetup in Japan! Join Harish Kumar, Director and IT Architect at Metlife, and Mitsuhiro Okamoto, Senior Developer Evangelist at Salesforce, to learn about Anypoint Platform’s Mule runtime.

Sydney, Australia – November 8th, 2018

The agenda of the next Meetup in Sydney is still in the works, but as the events always get fully booked, it’s never too early to register!
