Update 5/6/2019 from the training team: New practice quizzes for the MCPA – L1 and MCIA – L1 exams are now available.

Architects play an important role in developing software because they have broad and deep technical knowledge. One of their main responsibilities, especially when it comes to integration projects, is to provide technical support to teams. Architects also need to identify business requirements, design entire systems based on requirements, and more. In short, architects play a pivotal role in helping companies to achieve digital transformation success – attaining business and IT objectives.

The exam validates that an architect has the required knowledge and skills to create the foundation necessary for building an application network using an integration solution like Anypoint Platform, while following the tenants of API-led connectivity.

The exam covers topics like application network basics, as well as governing, delivering and controlling access to APIs on Anypoint Platform, and more. Refer to the exam datasheet for complete details.

What is the MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1?

The MCIA -Level 1 exam is also a proctored 58-multiple choice question exam.

Candidates should already be proficient in driving an organization’s Anypoint Platform implementation and technical quality, as well as be able to ensure compliance through governance and operationalizing the integration solution.

The exam validates the candidate’s ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations.

The exam covers topics like how to configure and provision Anypoint Platform, how to identify and select the right integration styles, how to design and document any enterprise integration architecture, and how to architect resilient and performant Integration solutions. Refer to the exam datasheet for complete details.
