I am excited to announce that our October release of Anypoint Platform for APIs is now live. This update to the platform includes a new design of the API management page as well as two new features:
- Custom policies
- Custom terms and conditions for API access
API Management UI updates
We have redesigned the API management page to make it faster and easier to access the tasks required to get an API configured. You can now design, share and manage your API directly from a single page. Additionally you can find quick links to documentation for each of these steps.
Custom Policies
Anypoint Platform now supports the addition of custom built policies. These policy can be built as standard Mule ESB XML configurations and then uploaded to the platform for use on any API. Custom policies can be used to interface with custom security systems for token validation, provide custom logging for API requests or for applying encryption of API communications. You can learn more about this new feature here.
Custom Terms & Conditions
API providers often require their API consumers to accept terms and conditions. Anypoint Platform for APIs now allows customers to provide a set of custom terms and conditions that will then be presented to users at the time they request access to an API. API consumers will then be required to accept these terms and conditions before they can submit their request.
You can get started with all of these features today by logging into your existing account or creating a new one at anypoint.mulesoft.com.
