Update 10/23/2017 from the training team: In the light of your feedback on how much you love this certification, we’ve elected to not retire this certification and, instead, release the MCD – API Design Associate (RAML 1.0) as a non-proctored certification exam. You’ll be able to take it as a stand-alone exam, or using the voucher that comes with the Anypoint Platform: API Design course. Thanks for letting us hear from you!
The MuleSoft Training and Certification strives to ensure that both our certifications and exams are up-to-date and relevant to the community. That’s why we conduct periodic reviews of both certifications and exams, taking into account any functionality changes, technology updates, while, most importantly, ensuring that all trainings contribute to developer success.
Today, MuleSoft Certification has decided to deprecate the current MCD – API Design Associate Certification in light of the new version of RAML 1.0, and latest updates to the Anypoint Platform: API Design course
Going forward, students who take the two-day instructor-led training will receive a voucher for the API Design assessment. This non-proctored exam is NOT a certification, it is simply a way for you to test your own skills, and individually verify that you understand the material and concepts presented.
As of October 16, 2017, the MCD – API Design Associate certification exam will no longer be available in the exam catalog.
Any student who has completed the Anypoint Platform: API Design course and has not yet used their voucher, may use the voucher to take the new assessment (not a certification).
