At MuleSoft, we’re dedicated to finding unique solutions to difficult problems. As our founder, Ross Mason recently said, “MuleSoft was founded to take the ‘donkey work’ out of a hard technical problem by approaching it in an entirely new way.” This is why, thanks to our customers and partners, we were so pleased and proud MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform recently win the 2017 UK Cloud Award for “Most Innovative Enterprise Product of the Year.”
The Awards, hosted by Cloud Pro in association with the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF), were created to champion cloud innovation as well as highlight the work of UK companies in the discipline. “The caliber of the entries we received this year serve as an important reminder of the dynamic and forward-looking industry we have in this country,” noted Alex Hilton, the CEO of the CIF.
Winning the UK Cloud Awards further validates our market position as a leader in both cloud and hybrid integration as well as a pioneer in an entirely new way for organizations to connect, share, and manage data and applications. The latest release of Anypoint Platform moves customers away from the traditional project-based approach—where all projects are delivered by IT—and toward an API-led approach—where IT delivers reusable, self-serve assets to the broader development community within the organization. As a result, Anypoint Platform is fostering a cultural movement that shifts IT away from delivering narrow projects to the business, and toward delivering reusable capabilities that enable business users to deliver their own projects in their own way – allowing IT to complete projects at scale and close the delivery gap between what organizations require and what IT can achieve.
Additionally, winning the UK Cloud Award comes at a time of high growth for our UK presence, which has grown by leaps and bounds and is truly delivering exciting results for organizations throughout the country and region. We’re working with leading British and European companies like Unilever, Spotify, Addison Lee, and Dixons Carphone as well as many others throughout UK and EMEA across all industries. We’ve also joined G-Cloud, the UK government’s online digital marketplace, and are delivering our product to public sector organizations like Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). We are committed to enriching the experiences of anyone interacting with the public sector.
To further develop the work we’re doing in the UK and EMEA, we’re opening a new technical field office in Reading to take advantage of the technical talent in the Thames Valley. With a product that’s built on cutting edge technology and creating true digital transformation for our customers, our technical field team naturally is vital to the business. We’re excited to be expanding our UK presence, and eagerly anticipate great things to come.
We want to thank the Cloud Industry Forum and Cloud Pro for this fantastic award. And if the idea of contributing to this innovative company excites you, and you want to work on the latest and greatest technologies for some of the biggest brands in the world, then I’d love to chat with you about our opportunities in London and Reading.
