Meet top MuleSoft community contributors (January ’19) and discover upcoming Meetups

2018 was an incredible year for the MuleSoft community with more than 120 meetups and 200 passionate volunteers sharing their knowledge with their peers, either online or in person.
In this blog, we lay out upcoming February events to attend, and we’ll look back at the amazing contributions made to the community in December and January – January was particularly rich in meetups, with a new record of 20 community-led events in 31 days!

Upcoming Meetups in February
Ahmedabad, India – February 2nd, 2019
Tejas Purohit and Rajeshkumar Maheshvari, co-founders of BasilRoot, are relaunching the Ahmedabad Meetup group! This time, they’ll discuss what’s new in Mule 4, as well as the best testing strategies and practices. Plus, Jimil Patel, Technical Marketing Manager at MuleSoft in San Francisco, will be visiting his hometown and plans to make a special guest appearance at this event.
Chennai, India – February 9th, 2019
For their second Meetup in Chennai, RaghunathaReddy Kanchireddy, Senior Software Engineer, and Ramakrishna Chintalapati, Technical Architect – both at ISGN – and Maheswarareddy Kristipati, System Analyst at CNSI, welcome Mathipriya Karuppannan, Associate Manager at Accenture, and Yogesh Manikavasakam, Project Engineer at Wipro Limited, to present on API Manager and automating Mule deployments with GitLab.
Bangalore, India – February 9th, 2019
Join Rajesh Kumar, Senior Technology Architect at Infosys, and Gaurav Sethi, Application Developer Analyst at Accenture, as they share the multiple ways to become a MuleSoft professional as well as the new security features in Mule 4.
Hong Kong – February 21st, 2019
Join Kiet Yap, Regional Solutions Consultant at MuleSoft, as he organizes the second Meetup in Hong Kong. The first talk by Samuel Lui, Principal Architect at MuleSoft, will cover Anypoint Runtime Fabric, a Docker/Kubernetes-based container service that automates and orchestrates the deployment of Mule runtimes to your private cloud infrastructure and on-premises data centers. Then Kiet will explain the competitive advantages of creating an Application Network, where new or existing functionality can be added or amended without breaking the whole IT ecosystem.
London, UK – February 21st, 2019
Join Rajesh Rajmangal and Thomas Peach, co-founders of Pace Integration, as they lead the first Meetup of the year in London. The agenda is still being built, and the two co-leaders are open to suggestions, but you can start booking your seats in the meantime!
Sydney, Australia – February 21st, 2019
The agenda for this Meetup is still in the works, but it’s never too early to save your spot as Sydney always sells out!
Twin Cities, Minnesota – February 21st, 2019
Join Mike Loos, Principal Solution Consultant at MuleSoft, as he relaunches Meetups in the Twin Cities! Hear how customers are using MuleSoft and get a taste of recently released features.
Los Angeles, California – February 21st, 2019
Bipesh Pokharel, Client Services Architect at Apisero, is leading his second event in Los Angeles. The agenda is being finalized, and more information will be shared soon.
Canberra, Australia – February 28th, 2019
Join Tony Gleeson, Enterprise Account Executive at MuleSoft, as he invites Panneer Subramanian, Integration Architect, and Kieran MacGillicuddy, Business Strategy and Program Delivery – both with IP Australia – to share their journey to adopting a delivery approach: agile, CI/CD, etc., as well as an overview of their architectural approach: microservices, containers, and managed cloud services.
San Diego, California – February 28th, 2019
Join Kranti Ponnam, Technology Evangelist at Apisero, as he leads his first event in San Diego! Vijay Rao, CEO of Apisero, will present on Anypoint Runtime Fabric.
Perth, Australia – March 6th, 2019
Zubair Aslam, Integration Architect at Woodside, and Ryan Grondal, National Practice Lead at MuleSoft, kick off Meetups in 2019 with two great topics: APIs and CI/CD. Andreas Nerlich, Principal Consultant at Empired, will share his CI/CD experiences and explain how to easily implement a CI/CD pipeline for your MuleSoft projects. Then Zubair will talk about Mule 4 and Studio 7 innovations along with some tips and tricks for successful projects.

First Meetups!
Since our last roundup in November, five MuleSoft Meetup groups had their first event. Congratulations to:
