We've called downtown San Francisco home to our headquarters for several years, and we love the energy around in the Bay Area. MuleSoft is growing dramatically, and in order to keep the pace, we're looking to quickly expand our organization and tap into the incredible talent in the South Bay. We're thrilled to be opening a new development center in downtown Mountain View.

MuleSoft engineer

Since we opened our San Francisco office, we've grown our product into a category-defining platform that's transforming how the world connects data, applications, and devices with an incredible team of crazy smart, fiercely determined people. We are investing deeply and broadly, taking APIs to a whole new level as we solve a $600 billion problem with bleeding edge technology and API-led connectivity.  But even has exploded, we're still a small company where engineers have full ownership over major projects to make a direct impact on the business quickly.

There is a huge community of exceptionally talented people as passionate about APIs as we are in the Bay Area that we haven't been able to fully explore. We're excited to grow our Bay Area presence to the heart of Silicon Valley to make it easier for a new team of Muleys to help us work on unique challenges that come with building a massively scalable, globally distributed platform.

The launch of this new development center brings with it an exciting opportunity to build and grow the South Bay team.  We're hiring a Director of Engineering who will be responsible for growing and managing a strong team of back-end, front-end, UX, and test engineers in our new Mountain View development center. We're looking for a true leader with an entrepreneurial spirit. The person in this role will collaborate with the rest of the development team in both San Francisco and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This Director of Engineering will have a major impact on the organization from the get-go, extending our culture of small scrum teams, agile processes, test-driven development, and hackathons to a new generation of Muleys. The team in Mountain View will have the same opportunities and resources as the teams in our other development centers, including learning Kubernetes, using cutting-edge JavaScript frameworks like React, building world class CI/CD processes and test automation, applying machine learning for developer efficiency and business insights, and much more. This new team will be a part of a collaborative group of intelligent, hard-working people.

If the opportunity to build a team during an exciting growth phase at MuleSoft is the kind of opportunity that gets you out of bed in the morning, or if you're based in the South Bay and looking for a challenging and rewarding role, I'd love to chat with you. The team is excited to expand, and we look forward to growing our innovation efforts in Mountain View.
