If you’re ready to take API Management in your organization to the next level, you’re in the right place.

Over the last two years, we at MuleSoft have launched new products and features to assist customers in achieving their vision of Universal API Management. Now that the excitement of a new launch has settled, we wanted to provide you with content that dives deeper into each part of the API lifecycle to help you make the most of your API portfolio.

Below, we’ve compiled a summary and links to five MuleSoft Community sessions, presented by MuleSoft’s API Management Product Managers. But before we begin, we want to give a special shoutout to our wonderful Online English Group organizers, Rajesh Nagarajan, Manik Magar, and Jim Andrews, for hosting the sessions and making this possible!

1. API Gateways

Did you know that we offer different gateway options based on your performance and architectural needs? In our first session, we discussed why you need API gateways to control APIs, the difference between Mule Gateway and Anypoint Flex Gateway, and recommended use cases for each type of gateways.

2. Govern APIs with Actionable Insights

Later this year, we will launch a new feature called Actionable API Insights as part of API governance. API Insights will provide an out-of-the-box dashboard that gives you visibility into all of your APIs and allows you to take action (i.e. add policies, update API specifications, and more) on non-conformant APIs. In this session, we discussed where governance fits into your Full Lifecycle API Management and where API Insights fit in. If you want a preview of the feature, check out the recorded session below!

3. API Developer Portal

Want to get the most out of the APIs you built by making them available for reuse with controlled access? With Anypoint API Experience Hub, you can improve reusability of your APIs and create a developer community (of internal or external audience). Check out the recorded session below to learn more about how you can build an API Developer Portal with minimal code.

4. Anypoint API Manager deep dive

Anypoint API Manager is the command center of all your APIs where you can control access, create SLA tiers, and manage contracts. In this session, learn how you can take advantage of the latest features of API Manager to take your organization’s API Management to the next level.

5. Best practices for API Catalogs

In our last session, we discussed the importance of creating a single source of truth for your API catalog. Why? Because you can’t secure and control APIs that you don’t know of. Watch the session to learn about the best practices for implementing API cataloging in your organization to have control over the security of your enterprise applications.
