It’s true – a lot can happen within a year. A year ago, we joined the Salesforce family and today we’re being recognized as one of the Best Workplaces in Latin America by Great Place to Work®.
When I reflect on the last 365+ days, I see tremendous growth, unique company cultures coming together, and endless potential for the future. Today’s recognition isn’t a result of a secret formula hidden in a vault in our Argentina office. This recognition is a result of our employees feeling connected to a greater mission, understanding the partnership between MuleSoft and Salesforce, and ultimately having a meaningful experience with their work. We’re honored to receive this award and are grateful for our experiences over the last 12 months that led to this recognition.
Growing with the Mules
It’s no secret, but “Muleys” are a notoriously close-knit family. Fortunately, we’ve been able to extend our family quite significantly over the past year. In 2018, our Ohana grew from 200 employees to more than 360! In order to accommodate our growth, we expanded our presence in Buenos Aires. We’re excited to see how our recent growth will positively impact our future. We look forward to a future of taking care of each other, having fun together, and working collaboratively to make the world a better place.
Accelerated transformation
During the Fourth Industrial Revolution, companies need to transform how they do business to innovate faster, deliver differentiated customer experiences, and increase operational efficiency – we did exactly that. We were able to continue to build toward our vision for Anypoint Platform, connecting any application, data source, and device — whether it touched Salesforce or not. It also became available as part of the Salesforce Integration Cloud, which – along with other complementary tools – made it easy for customers to surface any data regardless of where it resides to deliver intelligent, connected customer experiences across all channels and touchpoints. We now have a massive platform to drive our growth and to create an impact for the world. Through our collaborative efforts with Salesforce, I am confident that we will fulfill our vision.
Celebrate good times
There is nothing better than celebrating with colleagues that have become family. Throughout the last 12 months, we’ve been fortunate to celebrate a lot. A few highlights below:
Being welcomed into the Ohana
Joining a new family can be scary – unless you’re joining Salesforce. We were welcomed into the Ohana in a grand fashion with a huge party in Buenos Aires. Muleys were able to learn about Salesforce culture and bond together over a day filled with fireside chats, VTO activities, and of course – lots of cupcakes.
Volunteering at Hospital General de Niños Pedro de Elizalde
Muleys love to come together and do community work as a team. Our community service opportunities span across various interests and causes — from collecting cleaning supplies and cooking pancakes to distributing foods to donating children’s books to painting canvases for a local hospital.
Celebrating as an office
We take our work seriously, but we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We have fun as a group, from our annual MeetUp to our entertaining office parties, our Latin America camaraderie shines through every day.
This Best Workplace award is a wonderful recognition of what’s happening for us in Latin America — but it’s just the beginning. I look forward to continuing this adventure with you and experiencing all the great things to come.

Muchas cosas pueden pasar en un año. En nuestro caso, nos sumamos a la familia de Salesforce en mayo de 2018 y hoy estamos siendo reconocidos por Great Place to Work® como uno de los mejores lugares para trabajar en América Latina. Cuando pienso en los 365 días que pasaron, puedo ver cómo unimos dos culturas para impulsar nuestro crecimiento y aumentar nuestro potencial. Este nuevo reconocimiento no es el resultado de una fórmula secreta. Es más bien el resultado de nuestros colaboradores conectándose con una misión conjunta y entendiendo que la unión de MuleSoft y Salesforce mejora nuestra experiencia de trabajo. El crecimiento de los Muleys
Los “Muleys” somos una familia muy unida, y afortunadamente logramos sumar muchos miembros en el transcurso de un año. Nuestra Ohana creció de 200 colaboradores a más de 360, lo que impacta positivamente en nuestra perspectiva para el futuro. Contar con una Ohana más grande significa aumentar nuestra capacidad para colaborar y hacer del mundo un lugar mejor.
Transformación
Hoy estamos inmersos en la 4ta Revolución Industrial, en la cual las empresas necesitan transformarse, innovar y ofrecer experiencias diferentes a sus clientes – y eso es justamente lo que hacemos. Seguimos construyendo nuestra visión sobre Anypoint Platform, conectando aplicaciones, información y dispositivos. Esto ahora es parte de Salesforce Integration Cloud, lo que permite que nuestros clientes accedan a la información sin importar dónde esté alojada, con el fin de ofrecer experiencias integradas a través de todos sus canales. Contamos ahora con una gran plataforma para sostener nuestro crecimiento y generar un impacto real en el mundo. Estoy seguro que a través de nuestros esfuerzos en común vamos a poder cumplir con nuestra visión.

Bienvenidos a la Ohana
Unirse a una nueva familia puede generar incertidumbre, a menos que esa familia sea Salesforce. Nos dieron la bienvenida a la Ohana con un gran evento en Buenos Aires. Los Muleys tuvieron la oportunidad de aprender más sobre la cultura de Salesforce a través de diferentes charlas y actividades de voluntariado.
Actividad para el Hospital General de Niños Pedro de Elizalde
Nos encanta hacer actividades de voluntariado en equipo para colaborar con diferentes causas y organizaciones benéficas, ya sea realizando colectas y donaciones o hasta pintando cuadros para un hospital de la comunidad.
Celebrando en la oficina
Nos tomamos nuestro trabajo muy en serio, pero también nos reservamos espacios para celebrar. Nos gusta divertirnos en grupo: desde nuestra meetup global hasta nuestros eventos locales, siempre buscamos compartir momentos juntos como una familia.
Ser reconocidos como uno de los mejores lugares para trabajar en la región refleja el gran momento que estamos viviendo en América Latina. Pero es sólo el comienzo. Confiamos que este camino nos trae grandes cosas por delante.
