Dreamforce is just a few days away! MuleSoft and Salesforce have been hard at work to make this the best year ever for our attendees. Whether this is your first year at Dreamforce or your 10th, you’ll need to know what to expect as you make your way to the Bay!
Here are 10 insider tips for making the most out of your four days of Dreamforce.
1. Plan your day on agenda builder
With more than 3,600 sessions, each day of Dreamforce is jam-packed with content around digital transformation and cutting edge technology for businesses! Make sure to register for the sessions you want to attend to make sure your spot is reserved. Also check out the Dreamforce campus map to know where your sessions are.
2. Learn about the power of integration at Integration Grove
Located on the 2nd floor of Moscone West, Integration Grove is the home base for MuleSoft at Dreamforce. Come here to learn about the different ways integration drives digital transformation from our experts or play our Connected Forest interactive game to learn the value of an application network.
3. Stay comfortable — wear walking shoes
The Dreamforce campus expands across multiple buildings in San Francisco’s downtown! Be sure you wear shoes you’ll be comfortable walking in as you make your way to and from the various Dreamforce sessions and activities you’re attending. Also bring as jacket as it can get chilly in foggy San Francisco.
4. Hear from trailblazers at our Integration Keynote
One of the must-see sessions we recommend for every Dreamforce attendee is MuleSoft’s Integration Keynote. Join Uri Sarid, CEO MuleSoft and trailblazers BMW, HSBC, and Ashley Stewart, to learn how integration and APIs accelerate IT delivery, increase organizational agility, and unleash the full power of Salesforce Customer 360. Follow this link to save the Integration Keynote in your Dreamforce agenda.
5. Pick up a plushie!
Looking to bring home a coveted Max the Mule plushie from Dreamforce this year? You can only find him in the Trailhead Expo this year. Stop by our Integration Station in Trailhead Shores for a chance to win Max. Talk to one of our Integration experts while you’re there or see a live demo.
6. Check out our breakout sessions
There will be more than 1,000 breakout sessions in total at Dreamforce this year. To learn about the power of integration, here are three essential sessions for anyone attending Dreamforce:
- Salesforce on MuleSoft: Transforming Salesforce Employee Experience with APIs
- A Practical Guide to Building a Successful API Strategy
- Intro to MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
For a full list of MuleSoft breakout sessions, see this link.
7. Skip the laptop for notes
Laptops can be clunky and hard to carry around a conference — if you’re loving the content at a session, jot down notes the old fashion way on pen and paper or using your phone. Also, if you’d rather stay in the moment, most of our sessions will be recorded and available on our website after Dreamforce.
8. Uplevel your career with training and certifications
We are bringing our latest and greatest to Dreamforce this year. We have exciting new announcements around our product — Anypoint Platform, Accelerators for Salesforce Clouds, and much more! Be sure to get an inside look at what Anypoint Platform can do by visiting our experts at Integration Grove.
9. Visit the top of the Salesforce Tower
You can’t leave Dreamforce without taking a trip up to the top of the Salesforce Tower. Located 61 stories over the San Francisco city streets, it provides the best view of the Bay Area — check out at Alcatraz Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, and much more. Stop by 415 Mission St. and ask for a tour.
10. Pack your business cards
Dreamforce is one of the biggest networking events of the year, with more than 150,000 attendees! Be sure to bring and use your business cards as you’ll be meeting with various potential business partners, customers, or mentors during your four perfect days.
Follow @MuleSoft on Twitter or our MuleSoft company pages on LinkedIn and Facebook to stay up to date on everything Dreamforce. Don’t forget to use the #Dreamforce hashtag when posting and sharing to social media.
We can’t wait to see you in San Francisco!
