Reading Time: 7 minutes

Since 2010, London has been home to our flagship office in EMEA, and we’ve made tremendous strides in growing that office. Our offices in this region are relentlessly focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers like Spotify, Dixons Carphone, and Unilever, along with many others throughout EMEA. With a product that’s built on cutting edge technology and creates true digital transformation for our customers—we’re proud to have just won the 2017 UK Cloud Award for Most Innovative Enterprise Product of the Year—our technical field team naturally is vital to the business. We’re excited to now have an office that our technical field team members can call their own in Reading in the UK!

We’re very enthusiastic about the move to Reading—the technical talent through the Thames Valley area is impressive, and the region has often been compared to Silicon Valley in that the people there love solving big technical challenges like we do. The Reading office will be home to our Pre-Sales, Support, Professional Services, and Training teams in the region, and we’re hiring across these teams throughout the year.

As Director of Solutions Consulting (Pre-Sales) for EMEA, I’ll be heading up the new Reading office. It’s an incredibly exciting time for us as we’re opening up the opportunity to work on a market leading technology that’s changing the game to a whole new pool of people who live and work in and around the Thames Valley due to the very large concentration of high-tech companies in the area.

Our technical field teams help us drive transformative outcomes in some ways. They not only help us understand our customers’ technology pains at the beginning of our mutual journey, but they also work closely with our customers to ensure they’re getting the most out of the product and our partnership. Our product is quite technical, and the great thing is that we get to work with some of the latest cutting-edge technologies and architectures to build solutions that solve our customer’s problems. Our teams work on new technical challenges every day and get to see the fruits of their labor in the success our customers see as they grow their relationship with us.

We’re proud to call a number of leading companies our customers, across all industries, but still, we’ve barely scratched the surface at bringing unified connectivity to every organization. We’re looking for people to join our team who want to build and create something amazing. Ownership is one of our core values, and it’s paramount to our success that everyone at the company regards themselves as owners and really drives their piece of the business.

Given that our Reading office is brand new, part of the fun is building the office culture from scratch. Of course, we’ll bring over the elements of fun we love about our London office—team outings, happy hours, catered lunches. But I’m also excited to create new traditions with a growing team and really take advantage of being in the heart of the Thames Valley.

By opening up this office in Reading, we’ll be expanding that range of diverse backgrounds even further.
